I am an existing patient – do I still have to register on this site?

Yes. All patients, both new and existing, must register on this website to allow Web Bookings to be made.

How much does an appointment cost?

We provide both NHS and Private appointments. Private Sight Tests are charged at £25. NHS tests are available at no charge to the patient for those who are 60 or over, under 16, up to 19 in full-time education, 40 and over with a close relative with Glaucoma, suffer from diabetes, or are entitled to certain state benefits such as tax credits.

Is my information safe?

Yes. No information is available on the web–based service by default. All registrations produce new patient records. Until checks are made and your existing record (if any) is associated with your web–based record (upon your request by using this site), no information is available at all.

Are my payment details secure?

Yes. We do not store any credit or debit card numbers on any of our systems and no payment details are available on the web-based service.

I am registered with one Practice – can I make an appointment at a different one.

You can register (seperately) for each of our practices and make appointments at any one of them. Please note that your details will not be synchronised between the web–based accounts at different practices, although we are able to access all your previous records at your appointment. When you come for your appointment, please let us know if you have previously been seen at another practice.

I don't want my details to be available on this system – what should I do?

No information is available on this system without registration and manual activation by us. If you do not request registration, your details will not be available at all.
